We believe that an easy access to the Tipitaka chanting is important for anyone who commits to study the Dhamma, because adherence to the Tipitaka in the Pali language, the original language used to record the Buddha's discourse and teachings, is crucial in preserving the original context and meaning of the Dhamma as revealed by the Buddha, and avoiding the possibility of misinterpretation due to conventional translation and interpretation of the Tipitaka scriptures.
Our founding organization, the Sikkha Buddhavacana Pariyattidhamma 84000 Dhammakhandha Foundation, has a tradition of recording the Tipitaka chanting in the Pali language and has been building a library of recordings. We follow the tradition and have started to build our own library of the recordings. It is our commitment to distribute the recordings not only to our members, but also to the general public.
We'd like to thank all Sangha and volunteers in the Lay community around the world for their continuous efforts to build the recording library. We will continue adding new recordings once they are available.
